ABSTRACT: Iatrogenic injury of coronary arteries is a rare complication for which the incidence has not been reported. This paper presents the case of a 42-year-old man whose preoperative cardiac evaluation revealed a chronic total occlusion in the left anterior descending artery caused by a remote insertion of an epicardial pacemaker lead.
