Global research trends in liquid biopsy for ovarian cancer from 1999 to 2023: A 25-year bibliometric analysis.

ABSTRACT:

Background

Ovarian cancer (OC) is a major cause of gynecological cancer-related death in the world. Liquid biopsy has shown great potential in improving the ovarian cancer detection and treatment. The aim of this study is to explore the previous studies, current hotspots, and future trends of liquid biopsy for OC from a bibliometric perspective.

Methods

Articles on liquid biopsy in the field of OC were collected from Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics). Subsequently, bibliometric and visual analyses was conducted using bibliometrix, VOSviewer, CiteSpace, and Microsoft Excel.
