ABSTRACT: Individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (autism) commonly experience co-occurring anxiety and depression, which are significantly associated. These mental health conditions are also variously associated with increased autistic traits, insomnia, intolerance of uncertainty (IU), sensory sensitivity, and autonomic symptoms.
