ABSTRACT: Background
Sequential embryo transfer (ET) has been used to improve clinical outcomes in patients with recurrent implantation failure (RIF). This study aimed to evaluate whether sequential ET influence the live birth rate and perinatal outcomes of women with RIF.Methods
A cohort study of RIF patients who underwent sequential ET (Seq-ET) during frozen-thawed embryo transfer (FET) cycles between January 2020 and June 2023 was performed. FET patients who underwent double cleavage-stage ET (D3-dET) and double blastocyst ET (D5/6-dET) during the same period composed the control group. The live birth rate and perinatal outcomes of the groups were analyzed and compared. Results
The Seq-ET group had a significantly greater live birth rate (42.9%) than the D3-dET group (33.1%
