Cyclopropane rings, with their distinct structure and reactivity, have long been a focus in organic chemistry and are significant pharmacophores in medicinal chemistry. Conventional direct cyclopropanation methods for olefins do not modify the functional groups on the α- or β-carbon of olefins.
