Chromatin landscape, transcriptomic and ChIP-seq profiling of Anopheles stephensi MSQ43 cell line.

ABSTRACT: Anopheles mosquitoes are known as dominant vectors of malaria parasites and other viral and bacterial pathogens. Deciphering Anopheles genomes has opened a new era of research and allowed in-depth investigation of several molecular mechanisms involved in pathogen transmission. However, there is a lack of appropriate model systems to study specific vector-pathogen interactions at the molecular level. Even inbred mosquito colonies represent genetically heterogeneous population and require special care facilities. Insect cell cultures could serve as a useful alternative due to the ease of handling and maintenance, especially for genomic studies requiring millions of cells per experiment. Here, we provide chromatin contact maps and a dataset of epigenetic characteristics, including histone mar
