ABSTRACT: Objective
To explore the relationship between the low-grade inflammation score (INFLA-score) and metabolic syndrome (MetS) in shift workers working in the oilfield operations in Karamay City, Xinjiang, and to provide data support for the effective prevention of MetS through the reduction of systemic inflammatory responses. Methods
INFLA-score was calculated based on C-reactive protein, leukocyte count, platelet count, and neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) in 1,758 shift workers working at the oilfield base in Karamay City, Xinjiang, China, in the year 2023, as the study population. A logistic regression analysis model combined with restricted cubic spline was used to analyze the relationship between INFLA-score and MetS and its components in shift workers. Results
