ABSTRACT: The title compound, C₂₅H₂₀N₂O, crystallizes in the monoclinic C2/c space group, as the N-hy-droxy-formamidine isomer, in the E conformation (when referring to the C=N bond). Inversion dimers formed through pairwise O-H⋯N hydrogen bonds are present in the structure. C-H⋯π and π-π stacking inter-actions complete the crystal packing.
