Dataset Information

Preoperative Multifrequency MR Elastography for Stratifying Wnt/β-Catenin Pathway and Microvascular Invasion Phenotypes in Hepatocellular Carcinoma.

ABSTRACT:

Background

The Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway and microvascular invasion (MVI) are associated with the prognosis of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).

Purpose

To evaluate the Wnt/β-catenin pathway and MVI states using preoperative MR elastography (MRE).

Study type

Prospective.

Population

210 participants with surgically confirmed HCC (179 men; mean age 59.6 ± 0.8 years) and preoperative MRI/MRE.

Field strength/sequence

1.5 T/3 T, single-shot spin-echo MRE, T2-weighted image, diffusion-weighted imaging, DIXON, and contrast-enhanced T1-weighted imaging using fat-suppressed gradient sequence.

Assessment

Imaging features were assessed using major and ancillary features of Liver Imaging Reporting and Data System v2018, together with MRE-derived stiffness
