ABSTRACT: Background
The quality of and access to care by lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual, and other sexual and gender diverse (LGBTQIA+) patients is often compromised by physician knowledge deficits, bias, and inadequate training in LGBTQIA+ health.
