ABSTRACT: Background
Dual immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI) therapy with nivolumab plus ipilimumab (NIVO + IPI) has demonstrated efficacy in advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Although immune-related adverse events (irAEs) have been linked to improved outcomes, this relationship remains unclear in elderly patients, who may be more vulnerable to toxicity. This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of NIVO + IPI in elderly patients with advanced NSCLC and to explore the prognostic value of early irAEs.Methods
We conducted a retrospective study to evaluate the efficacy, safety, and prognostic significance of early irAEs in elderly NSCLC patients receiving NIVO + IPI. Patients aged ≥75 years who initiated NIVO + IPI between February 2021 and October 2023 were included
