Efficacy and safety of toripalimab in the treatment of patients with non-small cell lung cancer: a systematic review and meta-analysis.

ABSTRACT:

Background

For patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), the choice of inhibitors remains a controversial issue. Consequently, to evaluate the safety and efficacy of toripalimab, a programmed cell death protein-1 (PD-1) inhibitor, in treating patients with NSCLC, this meta-analysis was performed.

Methods

Cochrane Library, Embase, PubMed, and Web of Science were searched to find studies on patients with NSCLC receiving toripalimab. Our study encompassed single-arm studieÓs and randomized controlled trials (RCTs) for analysis. The cut-off date for data collection was March 21, 2024. Data analysis was performed using RStudio.
