Crystal structure and Hirshfeld surface analysis of 1,3,3-trimethyl-2,6-di-phenyl-piperidin-4-yl 2-phenyl-prop-2-enoate.
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: The title compound, C29H31NO2, is a multi-substituted piperidine derivative in which the piperidine ring adopts a chair conformation. Inter-molecular C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds as well as C-H⋯π inter-actions are observed in the crystal, leading to the formation of inversion dimers and chains, respectively. The inter-molecular inter-actions were qu-anti-fied and analysed using Hirshfeld surface analysis, revealing that H⋯H inter-actions contribute the most (70.5%) to the crystal packing.
