ABSTRACT: Background
The prognosis of stage IB non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is not satisfactory, and studies on stage IB NSCLC remain lacking. The study aimed to investigate the clinicopathological characteristics and prognostic factors of patients with stage IB NSCLC, and to provide new evidence for clinical management. Methods
A total of 971 NSCLC patients with pathological stage IB who were resected by surgery (R0) from January 2016 to December 2020 were reviewed. The primary endpoint was disease-free survival (DFS) and the secondary endpoint was overall survival (OS). The baseline characteristics of the patients were obtained statistically, and factors affecting the prognosis were analyzed using survival analysis and Cox proportional hazard models. Results
