Lipoic acid-kaempferol hydrogel loaded with Typhaneoside for sutureless wound closure, hemostasis, and healing of diabetic infected wounds.

ABSTRACT: Conventional hemostatic materials face challenges in adequately addressing the requirements of patients suffering from non-compressible hemorrhage. Furthermore, diabetic infected wounds frequently present a persistent and slow-healing condition. Currently available treatment strategies are unable to fully address non-compressible hemorrhage and promote the healing of diabetic infected wounds. In this study, we prepared a hydrogel named LTK, which is cross-linked by reversible hydrogen bonds and coordination bonds, using lipoic acid(LA)and kaempferol (Ka) as the main raw materials, and loaded it with Typhaneoside(TYP). The LTK-TYP hydrogel can fully diffuse into the irregularities of substrate surfaces and robustly adhere to various substrates. Molecular dynamics simulations further unveile
