Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Restoration of the anterior teeth is a clinical challenge that involves aesthetic considerations, occlusal rehabilitation, and may affect articulation. We present a case of a 31-year-old female patient who reported 6 months of recurrent gingival swelling and bleeding around the left maxillary anterior teeth. This was a case of gingival recession of the anterior teeth that required functional reconstruction in the aesthetic zone. The patient was treated for gingival recession and recurrent gingival inflammation around the anterior teeth caused by faulty prostheses. Treatment involved a multidisciplinary approach, which included coronally advanced flap and tunnel techniques in conjunction with connective tissue grafting, a concurrent frenectomy, crown lengthening, root canal, minor tooth mov
