Metagenomic next-generation sequencing (mNGS) technology provides a rapid detection method for identifying the pathogens responsible for pulmonary infections, with many advantages compared to traditional culture method. Our objective is to collect and analyze testing data from patients with pulmonary infections at the Department of Respiratory Medicine, Union Hospital, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, in order to compare the detection rates of mNGS and traditional culture method. Methods
