Protein O-mannosyltransferases (PMTs) are conserved endoplasmic reticulum membrane-embedded enzymes responsible for the transfer of mannose from dolichol phosphate-mannose (Dol-P-Man) to serine/threonine-rich protein substrates or unfolded proteins.
