Single-cell sequencing reveals the complexity of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma.

ABSTRACT: Cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL) is a type of lymphoma that affects the skin and has various subtypes with different features. It can be either slow-growing or aggressive and currently has limited treatment options, causing a significant impact on patients' quality of life. However, more research is needed to fully understand the underlying causes of the disease. Single-cell sequencing technology shows promise in comprehending the complex genome and microenvironment of CTCL. By analyzing the molecular status of each tumor cell, this approach can provide insights into tumor heterogeneity, microenvironment composition, and cell state transitions, tailoring treatment strategies to individual patients. In this review, we highlight recent research progress in CTCL via single-cell sequencing, fo
