Impact of Tidal model-based psychiatric nursing care on the meaning of life and coping level of adult persons with physical disabilities: an action research.

ABSTRACT:

Purpose

It is related with evaluating the impact of psychiatric nursing care based on the Tidal Model on the meaning of life and coping level of physically disabled adults.

Method

The study was designed mixed method emancipatory action research. In the pre-action, ten physically disabled individuals having ages in the interval of 20-30 and agreeing to participate in the study were interviewed with a semi-structured interview form on the effects of disability on life and the meaning of life, and the Meaning and Purpose of Life Scale and the Style of Coping with Stress Scale were applied.
