Triclinic polymorph of 1-hy-droxy-cyclo-hexa-necarb-oxy-lic acid.

ABSTRACT: The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C₇H₁₂O₃, an α-hy-droxy-carb-oxy-lic acid, contains two complete mol-ecules. In the extended structure, O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds connect the mol-ecules into sheets lying perpendicular to the crystallographic b axis.
