ABSTRACT: Background
This study aims to perform a systematic review and meta-analysis evaluating the association between serum uric acid (SUA) concentrations and clinical outcomes in individuals diagnosed with acute coronary syndrome (ACS).Methods
PubMed, Web of Science, Embase, and the Cochrane Library were searched up to March 2025. Stata (15.1) was employed to assess heterogeneity, perform sensitivity analyses, evaluate publication bias, and execute subgroup analyses. Results
A total of 40 cohort studies involving 105,609 ACS patients were included. The results showed that patients with high serum uric acid (HSUA) had significantly higher risks of all-cause mortality [Hazard Ratio [HR] = 1.81, 95% confidence interval [CI]: 1.47-2.22, p < 0.001; Odds Ratio [OR] = 1.97
