Characteristics and determinants of artificial intelligence (AI) literacy in Chinese nursing students: A cross-sectional study.

ABSTRACT:

Background

Artificial intelligence literacy is essential for nursing students to become competent in navigating contemporary healthcare complexities and to ensure safe patient care. This literacy is needed urgently due to the rapid integration of artificial intelligence into the clinical, educational, and research domains. This integration requires immediate adaptation in order to mitigate ethical risks in tech-driven healthcare.

Objective

The aim of this study was to examine both the level and determinants of artificial intelligence literacy among nursing students.

Design
