Risk factors for infections after urological procedures among patients with negative urine culture screening.

ABSTRACT: In this retrospective cohort, chronic kidney disease stage III-V (P = .005), history of previous urinary tract infection within 3 months (P < .05), Revised Cardiac Risk Index for preoperative risk ≥2 (P = .002), and percutaneous nephrolithotomy procedure (P < .05) were associated with risks of infections after urological procedures among patients with negative urine culture screening.
