BACKGROUND: Stress hyperglycemia ratio (SHR) has emerged as a more accurate indicator of stress-related hyperglycemia than absolute glucose levels. However, its relationship with early neurological deterioration (END) after acute ischemic stroke (AIS) remains unclear.
