Human respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) and human metapneumovirus (hMPV) are frequent drivers of morbidity and mortality in susceptible populations. The primary target of neutralizing antibodies is the fusion (F) glycoprotein on the surface of the RSV and hMPV virion.
