Reactions of glycidyl derivatives with ambident nucleophiles; part 2: amino acid derivatives.

ABSTRACT: A three-step procedure for the synthesis of multifunctionalized heterocycles from a pyroglutamic acid derivative, glycidyl components and anilines by nucleophilic substitution and cobalt catalysis is presented.
