The immunoregulatory enzyme indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase (IDO) is expressed by a subset of murine plasmacytoid DCs (pDCs) in tumor-draining lymph nodes (TDLNs), where it can potently activate Foxp3+ regulatory T cells (Tregs).
