ABSTRACT: The title compound, C(15)H(23)NO(3)S, is an unexpected 1,3-migration product in the addition of benzyl-zinc bromide to N-tert-butane-sulfinyl imino-acetate. In the crystal structure, mol-ecules are linked by N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds and weak C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds.
