ABSTRACT: In the title dichromium complex, [Cr(2)(C(16)H(14)NO)(3)Cl(3)]·2C(7)H(8), each Cr(III) atom has a distorted octa-hedral coordination geometry. The complex mol-ecule has three six-membered chelate rings formed by hydroxy-butane-imine ligands and the two Cr(III) atoms are bridged by two Cl atoms and one O atom.

An additional chloride ion binds to one chromium center, whereas an additional tetra-hydro-furan mol-ecule coordinates to the second Cr(II) center. The coordination geometry at each Cr(II) center can be best described as distorted octa-hedral.

One Cu(II) atom has a distorted square-pyramidal coordination environment formed by two pyridine N atoms, one bridging Cl atom and an N,O-chelating pyrazolate ligand. The other Cu(II) atom adopts an octa-hedral geometry defined by two pyridine N atoms at the axial positions, two Cl atoms and the coordinated pyrazolate ligand in the equatorial plane. The other Ni(II) ion is also six-coordinated, by four other pyridine N atoms from four other amino-pyridine ligands and two carbonate O atoms to complete a distorted octa-hedral geometry. The two bridging FB anions, one chelating FB anion and one nicotinamide (NA) ligand coordinate to one Zn cation with a distorted square-pyramidal geometry, while the two bridging FB anions, one monodentate FB anion and one NA ligand coordinate to the other Zn cation with a distorted tetra-hedral geometry. Within the binuclear mol-ecule, the pyridine rings are oriented at a dihedral angle of 19.41 (14)°. In the crystal structure, the uncoordinated 2-fluorobenzoic acid mol-ecules are linked by O-H⋯O hydrogen bonding, forming centrosymmetric supra-molecular dimers. Inter-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the complex mol-ecules into a three-dimensional network. The π-π contacts between nearly parallel pyridine and benzene rings [dihedral angles of 19.41 (14) and 12.72 (16)°, respectively, centroid-centroid distances = 3.701 (2) and 3.857 (3) Å] may further stabilize the crystal structure. The fluorine atoms in two FB ligands are disordered over two positions, with occupancy ratios of 0.70:0.30.

Project description:In the dinuclear title complex, [Ag2Cl2(C7H8N2S)(C25H22P2)2]·0.5CH3CN, each Ag(I) ion displays a distorted tetra-hedral coordination geometry with two P atoms from two bis-(di-phenyl-phosphan-yl)methane (dppm) ligands, one bridging chloride ion, one terminal chloride ion and one terminal S atom from the N,N'-phenyl-thio-urea (ptu) ligand. The dppm ligands and the bridging chloride ion force the two Ag atoms into close proximity, with a short Ag⋯Ag separation of 3.2064 (2) Å. In the crystal, complex mol-ecules are linked by N-H⋯Cl hydrogen bonds forming a dimer. The dimers are linked via weak C- H⋯Cl hydrogen bonds forming a two-dimensional supra-molecular architecture in the yz plane. In addition, an intra-molecular N-H⋯Cl hydrogen bond is observed.

Project description:In the title compound, (C(20)H(17)N(2))(2)[Pd(2)Cl(6)]·2C(6)H(6), the dichloride-bridged [Pd(2)Cl(6)](2-) anion lies across an inversion center with each Pd(II) ion in a slightly distorted square-planar environment. In the crystal structure, two cations and an anion are connected via N-H⋯Cl hydrogen bonds between the NH groups of the iminioisoindoline cations and terminal Cl atoms of a hexa-chloridodipalladate(II) anion. The Pd-Cl distance of the terminal chloride engaged in hydrogen bonding is slightly longer than the Pd-Cl distance of the adjacent terminal chloride which is not involved in hydrogen bonding.

The oxycarbene group is nearly planar, with the phenyl ring twisted by an angle of 39.1 (2)° with respect to this plane. One of the cyclo-penta-dienyl rings undergoes an offset face-to-face π-π inter-action [3.544 (6) Å] with the symmetry-related cyclo-penta-dienyl ring of a neighbouring mol-ecule.
