ABSTRACT: In the title complex, [PtBr(2)(CH(3))(2)(C(5)H(5)N)(2)], the Pt(IV) metal centre lies on a twofold rotation axis and adopts a slightly distorted octa-hedral coordination geometry. The structure displays weak intra-molecular C-H⋯Br hydrogen-bonding inter-actions.
