ABSTRACT: The title compound, C(9)H(10)BrNO(4)S, is an inter-mediate for the formation of benzothia-zines. In the crystal structure, inter-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the mol-ecules, forming R(2) (2)(10) ring motifs, which are linked into a two-dimensional polymeric sheet through inter-molecular C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds.
