ABSTRACT: In the title compound, C(24)H(19)NO(2)S, the mean plane of the benzo[b]carbazole ring system makes a dihedral angle of 79.26 (5)° with the phenyl ring. The S atom is in a distorted tetra-hedral configuration. The crystal structure exhibits weak C-H⋯O and C-H⋯π inter-actions.
