ABSTRACT: In the title compound, [ZnI(2)(C(6)H(8)N(2))(2)], the Zn(II) ion is coordinated by two iodide anions and two N atoms from 2,6-dimethyl-pyrazine in a distorted tetra-hedral geometry.
