ABSTRACT: The title compound, C(13)H(17)N(5), is a Schiff base synthesized by the reaction of 4-amino-4H-1,2,4-triazole and 4-(diethyl-amino)benzaldehyde. The triazole ring forms a dihedral angle of 5.77 (16)° with the benzene ring. The crystal structure is stabilized by an inter-molecular C-H⋯N hydrogen bond.
