N-(2-Furylcarbon-yl)piperidine-1-carbo-thio-amide.

ABSTRACT: The title compound, C(11)H(14)N(2)O(2)S, was synthesized from furoyl isothio-cyanate and piperidine in dry acetone. The thio-urea group is in the thio-amide form. The thio-urea group makes a dihedral angle of 53.9 (1)° with the furan carbonyl group. In the crystal structure, mol-ecules are linked by inter-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming one-dimensional chains along the c axis. An intramolecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bond is also present.

Project description:In the title compound, C17H19NO2S2, the 2H-chromene ring system is nearly planar, with a maximum deviation of 0.0383 (28) Å, and the piperidine ring adopts a chair conformation. The 2H-chromene ring makes dihedral angles of 32.89 (16) and 67.33 (8)°, respectively, with the mean planes of the piperidine ring and the carbodi-thio-ate group. In the crystal, C-H⋯O and weak C-H⋯S hydrogen bonds link the mol-ecules into chains along [001]. The crystal structure also features C-H⋯π and π-π inter-actions, with a centroid-centroid distance of 3.7097 (17) Å.

Project description:In the title compound, C15H15N3S2, the central pyrazole ring adopts a twisted conformation on the -CH-CH2- bond. Its mean plane makes dihedral angles of 7.19 (12) and 71.13 (11)° with those of the thio-phene and toluene rings, respectively. The carbothi-amide group [C(=S)-N] is inclined to the pyrazole ring mean plane by 16.8 (2)°. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by N-H⋯S hydrogen bonds, forming chains propagating along [010]. Project description:The title compound, C11H15N3OS, is a thio-semicarbazone derivative of the raspberry ketone rheosmin [systematic name: 4-(4-hy-droxy-phen-yl)butane-2-one]. The mol-ecule deviates from planarity, with the bridging C-C-C=N torsion angle equal to -101.3 (2)°. The maximum deviation from the mean plane of the non-H atoms of the thio-semicarbazone fragment [C=N-N-C(= S)-N] is 0.085 (5) Å for the Schiff base N atom, and the dihedral angle between this mean plane and the aromatic ring is 50.31 (8)°. Project description:The title compound, C22H18N4OS, crystallized with four independent mol-ecules (A, B, C and D) in the asymmetric unit. All four mol-ecules have a Z conformation about the C=N bond with the benzyl ring being inclined to the indoline ring mean planes by 73.4 (2), 77.9 (2), 73.2 (2) and 77.2 (2)° in mol-ecules A, B, C and D, respectively. In mol-ecules A and B, the phenyl ring is inclined to the mean plane of the indoline ring mean plane by 12.0 (2) and 12.2 (2)°, respectively. However, in mol-ecules C and D, the same dihedral angles are larger, viz. 37.3 (2) and 36.4 (2)°, respectively. Consequently, the benzyl and phenyl rings are almost normal to one another in mol-ecules A and B [dihedral angles = 80.3 (3) and 87.1 (3)°, respectively], while in mol-ecules C and D, the same dihedral angles are only 48.8 (2) and 43.8 (3)°, respectively. There is an intra-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bond in each mol-ecule with an S(6) ring motif. There are also short intra-molecular N-H⋯N and C-H⋯S contacts in each mol-ecule. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked via C-H⋯S hydrogen bonds and C-H⋯π inter-actions, forming a three-dimensional structure. The crystal was refined as a non-merohedral twin with a final BASF value of 0.110 (1).

Project description:In the title compound, C12H15N3O2S, the 1,3-benzdioxole fragment is nearly planar [the maximum deviation being 0.0515 (14) Å], the N-N-C(=S)-N fragment is also nearly planar [the maximum deviation being 0.0480 (10) Å], and the dihedral angle between their mean planes is 23.49 (10)°. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by pairs of N-H⋯S hydrogen bonds, forming inversion dimers. The dimers are stacked along the a axis with neighbouring columns having the same direction; however, the mol-ecules show different orientations leading to a centrosymmetric arrangement. In the crystal, the methyl-ene group of the ethyl substituent and the terminal methyl H atoms are disordered over two sets of sites and were refined using a split model with an occupancy ratio of 0.5:0.5.
