ABSTRACT: The mol-ecule of the title complex, [Cu(C(6)H(2)N(3)O(7))(2)(C(3)H(7)NO)(2)], is disposed about a crystallographic centre of symmetry. The Cu(II) cation is six-coordinated by two phenolate O atoms and two ortho-nitro O atoms of two picrate units and by two carbonyl O atoms from two coordinated dimethyl-formamide mol-ecules, forming a distorted octa-hedral geometry.
