ABSTRACT: The title compound, C(22)H(30)O(4), displays twofold rotational symmetry. The two benzene rings are almost perpendicular to each other, forming a dihedral angle of 89.8 (6)°. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked into an extended one-dimensional chain structure via inter-molecular O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds.
