ABSTRACT: The title compound, C(15)H(12)O(2)S, features three fused rings with a dihedral angle of 79.6 (2)° between the isopropenyl group and the thio-phene ring. In the crystal, mol-ecules are connected into a supra-molecular helical chain via C-H⋯O contacts.
