Tetra-aqua-bis[2-(thio-semicarbazonometh-yl)benzene-sulfonato]calcium(II).

ABSTRACT: In the title compound, [Ca(C(8)H(8)N(3)O(3)S(2))(2)(H(2)O)(4)], the Ca atom (site symmetry ) adopts a slightly distorted octa-hedral CaO(6) geometry and the mol-ecular conformation is stabilized by intra-molecular N-H⋯N inter-actions. In the crystal, the mol-ecules are linked by O-H⋯O, O-H⋯S, N-H⋯O and N-H⋯S hydrogen bonds.
