ABSTRACT: The conformation of the title compound, C(12)H(17)N(3)O, is consolidated by an intra-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bond, generating an S(5) ring. In the crystal, inversion dimers linked by pairs of N-H⋯O inter-actions occur, resulting in R(2) (2)(8) ring motifs.

Project description:In the title mol-ecule, C(9)H(13)N(3)O, the non-hydrogen atoms of the hydrazide group are essentially planar [maximum deviation = 0.028 (1) Å for one of the N atoms]. The mean plane of this group forms a dihedral angle of 83.34 (5)° with the plane of the benzene ring. In the crystal structure, mol-ecules are linked by inter-molecular N-H⋯O, N-H⋯N and weak C-H⋯N hydrogen bonds into a two-dimensional network parallel to the ab plane. Additional stabilization is provided by a weak C-H⋯π inter-action.

Project description:The complete mol-ecule of the title compound, C(24)H(32)N(2)O(4), is generated by a crystallographic inversion center. The 1,2-diethyl-hydrazine moiety is nearly planar, with a maximum deviation of 0.024 (1) Å, and is inclined at a dihedral angle of 54.20 (4)° with the phenyl ring. In the crystal, [001] chains are formed, with adjacent mol-ecules in the chain linked by pair of inter-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, generating R(2) (2)(10) ring motifs. Inter-molecular C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds and C-H⋯π inter-actions are also observed.

Project description:The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C(23)H(27)Cl(2)N(3)O, contains two crystallographically independent mol-ecules in which the dihedral angles between the benzene rings are 70.1 (3) and 63.8 (3)°.
