ABSTRACT: In the title compound, C(20)H(15)N(2)O(+)·Cl(-), the dihedral angle between the fused-ring system and the benzene ring is 63.10 (7)°. In the crystal, N-H⋯Cl hydrogen bonds link the components and aromatic π-π stacking [shortest centroid-centroid distance = 3.6421 (12) Å] occurs.
