ABSTRACT: In the mol-ecular structure of the title compound, C(14)H(11)Cl(2)NO, the two aromatic rings form a dihedral angle of 70.9 (1)°. The central amido group -NH-C(=O)- makes a dihedral angle of 26.6 (2)° with the methyl-phenyl ring and 82.5 (1)° with the dichloro-phenyl ring. Inter-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the mol-ecules into chains running along the c axis of the crystal.
