ABSTRACT: The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C(5)H(4)Cl(2)N(2)O, contains one half-mol-ecule: all the non-H atoms lie on a crystallographic mirror plane. In the crystal structure, mol-ecules are linked into chains along the c axis by weak inter-molecular C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds.

The dihedral angle between the phenyl ring [r.m.s deviation = 0.0039 (15) Å] and the best mean-plane of the pyridazine ring [r.m.s deviations = 0.2629 (15) Å] is 53.27 (10)°. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds and C-H⋯π inter-actions involving the methyl group and the phenyl ring of a symmetry-related mol-ecule.

In the crystal, pairs of inter-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds form centrosymmetric dimers. π-π contacts with centroid-centroid distances of 3.698 (2) and 3.751 (1) Å and halogen-halogen inter-actions [3.379 (1) Å] also stabilize the structure.

Project description:The title compound, C(18)H(16)N(2)O, is a new dihydro-pyridazin-3(2H)-one derivative synthesized in one step by condensation of α-benzyl-idene-γ-tolyl-butenolide with hydrazine. The mol-ecule is not planar; the tolyl and pyridazine rings are twisted with respect to each other making a dihedral angle of 27.35 (9)° and the benzyl ring is nearly perpendicular to the pyridazine ring with a dihedral angle of 85.24 (5)°. In the crystal structure, inversion dimers arise, being linked by pairs of N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds. Weak C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds and weak offset π-π stacking stabilize the packing. The π-π stacking occurs between the pyridazine rings of symmetry-related mol-ecules, with a centroid-centroid distance of 3.748 Å, an inter-planar distance of 3.605 Å and a slippage of 1.024 Å.

Project description:The mol-ecule of the title compound, C(23)H(18)Cl(2)N(4)O, assumes a non-planar conformation in which the pyrazolone ring forms dihedral angles of 32.61 (19), 76.73 (14) and 52.57 (19)° with the three benzene rings. The secondary amino group is involved in an intra-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bond. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by pairs of N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming inversion dimers. An offset stacking inter-action is observed between the chloro-substituted benzene rings protruding on both sides of these dimers [centroid-centroid distance = 3.862 (1) Å].

Project description:In the title compound, C21H24N2O2Si, the carbonyl group of the heterocyclic ring and the O atom of the silyl ether group are placed toward opposite sides and the tert-butyl and pyridazinone moieties are anti-oriented across the Si-O bond [torsion angle = -168.44 (19)°]. In the crystal, mol-ecules are assembled into inversion dimers through co-operative N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds between the NH groups and O atoms of the pyridazinone rings of neighbouring mol-ecules. The dimers are linked by π-π inter-actions involving adjacent pyridazinone rings [centroid-centroid distance = 3.8095 (19) Å], generating ladder-like chains along the b-axis direction. The chains are further linked into a two-dimensional network parallel to the ab plane through weak C-H⋯π inter-actions.
