Dataset Information

2-Benzyl-oxybenzaldehyde azine.

ABSTRACT: The complete mol-ecule of the title compound, C(28)H(24)N(2)O(2), is generated by a centre of inversion (at the mid-point of the N-N bond). The substituents at the ends of the C=N bonds adopt an E,E configuration. The central -CH=N-N=CH- fragment is planar, but as a whole the mol-ecule is not: the benz-yloxy group is rotated about the O-C bond by 69.3 (2)° with respect to the plane of the benzyl-idene hydrazine unit.
