Hexaaqua-gallium(III) trinitrate trihydrate.

ABSTRACT: The title compound, [Ga(H(2)O)(6)](NO(3))(3)·3H(2)O, is isostructural to other known M(III) nitrate hydrates (M = Al, Cr, Fe). The structure contains two distinct octa-hedral Ga(OH(2))(6) units (each of symmetry) which are involved in inter-molecular hydrogen bonding with the three nitrate anions and three water mol-ecules within the asymmetric unit.
