ABSTRACT: The title compound, C(16)H(20)O(3), contains a bicyclic ring system with two chiral centers. The crystal structure is stabilized by inter-molecular O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds. The absolute configuration was established by the stereo-selectivity of the asymmetric organocatalysis.
