ABSTRACT: In the crystal structure of the centrosymmetric title compound, [Zn(2)Cl(4)(C(14)H(14)N(4))(2)], the Zn(II) atom is coordinated by two N atoms from two 1,2-bis-(imidazol-1-ylmeth-yl)benzene ligands and two Cl atoms to confer a distorted tetra-hedral geometry at the metal center.
