ABSTRACT: The title compound, C(12)H(11)NO(3)S, synthesized by the reaction of benzene sulfonyl chloride with para-amino-phenol, is of inter-est as a precursor to biologically active sulfur-containing heterocyclic compounds. The structure is stabilized by N-H⋯O and O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds.
