ABSTRACT: The title compound, C(18)H(23)NO(3), the adamantane derivative of norcantharidin, which is itself derived from cantharidin, crystallized with three independent mol-ecules in the asymmetric unit. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by inter-molecular C-H⋯O inter-actions, leading to the formation of a supra-molecular two-dimensional network.
